1. What challenges did you encounter while trying to get close, capture real moments, and capture action or emotion? How did you deal with these?
Well, there wasn't much going on since I was in a language arts class and the lights were off most of the time. I just captured what I could, single students trying to work hard on whatever they were doing.
2. What technical aspects of photography (focus, exposure, composition) did you find yourself thinking about the most, and how did you make sure you did these correctly?
Like I said before, the lights were off in the class most of the time. But the teacher did have some lamps on in the back and if I thought I absolutely had to shoot whatever it was, I would try to get it close to the lamps so the pictures would come out at least halfway decent.
3. Describe how you attempted to use at least one of the advanced composition techniques when you shot.
I tried simplicity, by filling the frame with something simple and not too busy or complicated. Like a student's face with a blank bit of a background.
