The difference between my pinhole camera and an SLR camera is that my pinhole camera has only the simplest of attatchments; i.e., black tape, cardboard, construction paper, foil, and an oatmeal box. An SLR camera has optional lenses, and has the option to be in color. Also, you can focus in and out in it and actually see what it is your going to shoot instead of just guessing. And you don't have to count and guesst he time to leave the light exposed to the paper. The SLR camera does all the work for you, all you have to do is choose something to shoot, click a button and then develop the picture later. (In the short version)
SLR cameras are much easier to work with then the primitive pinhole cameras that we made in our photojournalism class, just for the simple fact that you get to be much lazier and have a bunch of fancy settings to make your photo much more interesting and pleasing to the eye.
