Staged Illustration
The concept of this photo is to show how some teenagers do cut themselves to release stress and it IS and issue that needs to be handled. They do it because it releases endorphins and endorphins make you happy.
I like this picture because it is both very controversial and something that needs to be dealt with.
Composite Image
I think its showing that drinking alcohol is bad even though it is legal and could be put to more use for feeding a fire.
I like this image because i agree that people abuse alcohol even though it is legal, its still not a smart thing to do like smoking. It has so many chemicals in it that are really bad for you.
Photo Made into Art
I think that the picture was made just to show the beauty of nature, tulips in particular. Then given a more artsy feel to it by having the image transfer thing to make it look painted.
I like this image because I've always had a soft spot for nature in all its beauty. Especially flowers of an exotic nature. You dont see tulips much in Texas so all you get mostly are just pictures.
Realistic Alteration
The concept of the photo is just to amuse by showing the 5 second rule on how long food can stay on the ground and still be good to pick back up and eat. You can see with the timer, the cracker already on the floor, the lollipop hitting the floor and the second cracker about to hit the floor.
I really like this photo because the 5 second rule was in play a lot when I was a little kid. I remember enforcing it everytime i dropped something.

Zone Focus- Focus needs to be the same for one place that your shooting. You can't be moving the camera all around trying to change the focus a lot or its not going to work and your not going to get anything. It needs to stay within one zone.
Shutter Speed- Most of the time your shutter speed needs to be really high (At least 250) to freeze action. Also, if you have a high shutter speed, your aperature needs to be really big. So you get a lot of light in your picture.
Panning- When panning, you have to make sure your shutter speed is low enough, but not too low. Its good for when your shooting something inside and there isn't a lot of light so your ISO needs to be low. To pan, you need to follow the subject you want to be in focus and keep following them even after you take the picture to make sure they are really in focus.
Waiting for the Pause- If you don't want to pan and your shooting inside, this is another good technique to use. What it is, is your waiting for that one moment where momentum changes. A subject is running, and has to pivot to turn around, for example. Or a subject is just waiting for a ball. That's when your supposed to shoot them.
